DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Personal Ministries is to provide resources and train church members to unite their efforts with the gospel ministers and church officers in the final proclamation of the gospel of salvation in Christ. Realizing that each believer has been endowed with some spiritual gifts, the Department endeavours to get every member involved in active soul winning service to God.
DEPARTMENT VISION STATEMENT
The vision of the Personal Ministries Department is to equip and mobilize the membership to accomplish the World Mission of the Church.
DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVES
1. Growing Relationship with Christ
The aim is to lead church members to enjoy a closer walk with God. This can be realized when members commit themselves to the daily study of and meditation on God's Word, and when they actively share their faith with friends and neighbours.
2. More Member Involvement in Soul-Winning Work
God's work on earth cannot be finished by gospel ministers alone. There is a need for every believer to act his/her part in soul-winning. For this reason the Department of Personal Ministries encourages all members to commit themselves in working to save the lost.
DEPARTMENT SERVICES
The Southern Africa Union Personal Ministries Director will provide leadership and support to conferences through training programs in all aspects of church growth. The aim is to equip the pastors and members to be able to reach out and serve their communities.
